CMBA is very proud to announce the following coaches for the 2022/23 Single Season.
18U College Prep:
We are very excited to have Scott Pankratz return as the head coach for our very successful college prep program. Scott has accumulated 3 provincial titles in the 7 years he has been with CMBA. Scott led these fine young men to a season record of 33-9 and hosted a fantastic weekend of championship baseball at Fairfield – well done Scott, we look forward to even newer heights in the upcoming season.
18U AAA:
CMBA is also excited to be welcoming Steve Coleman as the head coach for our 18u AAA program for the 2022/23 season as well as taking the lead for the 18u AA/AAA Fall Ball season. Steve comes to Chilliwack with a very impressive resume, and we believe will have an immediate and very positive impact on players and families. Steve the former president of Abbotsford Minor Baseball and currently sits on the BC Minor Baseball board of directors. He brings with him 18 years of coaching experience in which he has
accrued many accomplishments:
• BCMBA Provincial Champions (Head Coach)
• Baseball BC Provincial Champions (Head Coach)
• Westerns as Team BC (Head Coach)
• Valley of Champions Gold (Head Coach)
Welcome aboard and to the Cougars Family!
15U AAA:
The excitement continues as Colin Currie will be returning to lead our very accomplished 15U AAA program and start the road to repeating as Provincial Champions. Congratulations to the 2022 Bantam Cougars who finished the 46-game season 36-10, hosted the BC Provincial Final Four at Fairfield and then clinched the banner with a very hard-fought final. It has been a pleasure seeing these kids come together and achieve the goals set before them.
15U AA:
CMBA is also very please to announce Al Robinson as the head coach for our Bantam AA single season team. Al brings many years of coaching experience and a vast knowledge of the game along with him. We look forward to Al building the next group of players and preparing them for the road to success.
13U AAA:
CMBA is excited to have Jeremy Hall return to the helm of our Peewee AAA head coaching role. Jeremy brings a very deep portfolio of knowledge and accomplishments with him. He
continually shares his baseball/coaching knowledge with his assistant coaches and in developing very competent competitors who often go onto higher levels of ball.
13U AA:
The 13U AA head coach position will be announced after fall ball due to the high interest in this position.
